She also mentioned that, despite what we think today, Puritans didn’t wear black and white. Just like the paint, black clothing was also very expensive at the time. She told me that black paint was very expensive back then and that the house was actually dark because of multiple coats of linseed oil. Even sitting next to the historic district, the Witch House still seemed out of place. She looks around and sees Eda, King, Lilith, Hooty, Steve, Katya, Derwin, and Amber. Eda explains that everyone present was suspicious of the Day of Unity and have formed a group, the Covens Against the Throne, to stop it. After going to their headquarters in Latissa, Eda presents Luz with a box labeled "Eda's longest toenails" and, upon evening, is surprised to see the palistrom wood in it. As the Day of Unity approaches, Eda takes her and King to have her cloak repaired when Prim, her usual seamstress, refuses them service after joining the Oracle Coven.

On Coven Day, King tells Luz how Eda ran into her old significant other, Raine Whispers, who is resisting the Emperor, much to Eda's anger. As Eda is confused as to why Raine is still head of the Bard Coven, Luz sees Kikimora and they speak with her. He and Hooty pilot a Belos float that sets off insulting fireworks and they distract the guards as Eda and Luz kidnap Raine and Kikimora. After the plan falls apart, he, Amity, and the other residents of the Owl House watch as Belos proclaims the Day of Unity will be in one month's time. A few days later, King helps Luz and Eda create a new portal and tie Luz to a rope to pull her out if it starts to close.

On the late afternoon of her eighteenth birthday, Luz finishes emptying out her room and packing up her belongings for college when her mother arrives to check up on her. During their conversation, Camila expresses both pride and disbelief that her daughter was soon to attend college, before being surprised when an ecstatic Luz reveals that she had selected all of the university's majors as her own. Shocked to be talking to the Titan, Luz listens as he reveals he's been watching King all this time. Luz confesses she was hoping Belos would die at the Collector's hand, and King's father admits he regrets imprisoning the Collector on false accusations. Luz asks if they are as bad as Belos, but King's father says Belos is pretending to be the hero of his own story to fit his agenda. Soon, King's father starts to fade and gives Luz the last of his magic, warning that it's temporary.

After she and Vee help get Amity and Willow settled in her room and her mother gets Gus and Hunter settled in the basement. At the factory, the twins and King separate from the main group with Gus disguising himself, Luz, Amity, Willow, and Hunter as Coven Scouts as they look for Amity's parents.

Shortly after, Eda brought home a human girl named Luz Noceda who could pass through the barrier holding his crown. She drops him and Luz off and they sneak inside and talk to three detained personal and hide from Warden Wrath in an empty cell. After the warden leaves, he and Luz sneak into the confiscation room where Luz retrieves his crown, a cardboard crown from a fast food restaurant. Soon the warden arrives, apprehends King and his companions, crushes King's crown, and asks Eda on a date. After Eda fights the warden in the courtyard, a hole is blasted in the cell block and he and Luz convince the prisoners to rise up.

Post-visit and preparing for the Day of Unity

Shortly afterward, she and Vee both graduate from Gravesfield High together, with both of them happily embracing each other during their school's graduation ceremony. Following this, Luz enrolls herself and is accepted into the University of Wild Magic in the Demon Realm, of which Eda had become the headmaster of. As they reach the castle, they see Belos, now having taken a large monstrous form, emerging from it. When the Collector tries and fails to get Belos to change his ways, Luz defends him but dies in the process. Luz, Amity, Eda, King, and Hooty watch the parade as it is suddenly announced that Belos will deliver a message.

After running away, Gus comforts him and they run after Luz when she is chased out of school by Grometheus the Fear Bringer. After Luz and Amity subdue Grometheus, he declares them the winners and joins the girls as the crowd carries them away. After freeing the Collector, King becomes more concerned for his friend's safety, as he forces Luz and her friends into the Human Realm rather than face the Collector. In the months that followed, King became more concerned for the safety of his companions, fearful Eda will be caught not in her own beast form.

In a tearful voice, her sister makes up a fictional spell similar to a pain-sharing spell, assuring Lilith and Hooty she'll be okay. Eda activates her cloaking stone, disguising herself as Raine and meeting up with Darius and Eberwolf at the area of the Draining Spell. To their surprise, Belos has Darius and Eberwolf switch positions, so Eda is in between Adrian and Terra instead, Eda wincing as Terra calls her "sprout." Throughout the series, King undergoes significant character development as he learns the importance of friendship and self-acceptance. His journey from aspiring demon king to a cherished member of Luz’s found family is heartwarming and relatable. King’s humorous one-liners and adorable mannerisms make him a fan favorite, and his moments of vulnerability and growth resonate with viewers of all ages.

This was demonstrated by how, prior to her return, Vee returned all of Luz's belongings that she had earlier attempted to throw away to their proper place in addition to leaving a note on her bedroom door, welcoming Luz home. Kikimora suddenly enters with who they think is Hunter, but is actually Luz under an illusion spell. Kikimora begs Belos for a right-hand man position under him, but Belos refuses. He then goes to throw the mirror the Collector is trapped in down a pit before going to fight to Luz. The two, along with Amity, Alador, Gus, Hunter, and their palismen, continue to journey to the head of the Titan, where Luz should be. Everyone on board is extremely on edge and tense; Hunter adjusts some of the steering pieces of the ship, which aggravates Alador and triggers an outburst from Amity about the pace they're going at, making her worry about her girlfriend even more.

As Amity gives Hunter a pep talk, he notices the portal key and fights King and Amity. They manage to subdue him, but Hunter threatens Luz if Amity does not hand over the key. Eda arrives shortly after and they return to the Owl House mildly successful with Amity's glove being stained with blood from the key.
